1. Introduction

This privacy policy covers repline27.com, the marketing and operations website for Repline27, a company based in Portugal. It explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how it's used.

This policy is separate from the privacy policies of the companies Repline27 represents as an EU/UK Article 27 representative. If you're trying to reach one of those companies about your own data, use the Data Protection Request Portal linked in the footer of this site — not this policy.

2. Data We Collect

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Nothing is collected simply by browsing repline27.com.

Personal information is collected only when you actively submit one of the following:

  • Data Protection Request form (/request) — your full name, email address, the company your request concerns, whether you're a data subject, a regulator, or other, your request type, and the details you provide in the free-text field.
  • IP address — collected only via the /request form, based on legitimate interest, to help determine which jurisdiction (EU or UK) applies to your request. This is disclosed on that form itself.
  • Booking a call — if you book a compliance check through our Calendly scheduling widget, Calendly collects your name, email address, and any details you provide, under Calendly's own privacy policy. Repline27 receives the booking details Calendly shares to confirm the call, but does not separately collect this information through the site itself.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to inquiries and scheduled calls.
  • To forward Data Protection Request submissions to the relevant client company, and to log and acknowledge receipt of that request.
  • To determine the applicable jurisdiction (EU or UK) from the IP address submitted with a Data Protection Request.
  • Your data is not sold, and is not shared with third parties beyond what's needed to fulfill these purposes — for example, forwarding a request to the client company it concerns, or using Calendly to schedule a call.

4. Your Rights

If your personal data has been collected through this site, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data Repline27 holds about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including Portugal's CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados) or the data protection authority in your own country.

5. Data Retention

Data Protection Request submissions are retained for as long as needed to resolve the request, and for a reasonable period after for record-keeping purposes. Calendly booking details are retained per Calendly's own retention practices.

Flag for counsel: the retention periods above are a starting proposal, not a confirmed policy — retention periods carry real legal implications and this wording specifically needs a lawyer's review before publication.

1. Services

Repline27 provides two related services:

  • A one-time setup project — drafting and signing the mandate agreement appointing Repline27 as your EU Article 27 representative, updating your privacy policy to name Repline27, and coordinating VAT/OSS registration and CE/UKCA marking (if applicable) through subcontracted specialists.
  • An annual retainer — Repline27 remains your standing EU contact, receiving and forwarding any GDPR request or regulatory inquiry to you within 24 hours, preserving your full 30-day legal window to respond.

Repline27 acts as a coordinator and representative, working with subcontracted specialists (accountants, certification labs, lawyers) for VAT/OSS and CE/UKCA matters. Repline27 does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice, and is not a substitute for independent counsel — you remain responsible for your own compliance decisions and for the substance of any response to a request Repline27 forwards to you.

2. Payment Terms

The one-time setup fee ($1,500–3,000, depending on scope) is paid at signing, before work begins. The annual retainer (from €89/month, priced by company revenue — see the pricing page for current tiers) is paid in advance for each 12-month coverage period, via Stripe.

Prices are final — no VAT applies to this service for non-EU business clients, as it is a B2B export service outside the scope of Portuguese VAT.

3. Cancellation

The annual retainer renews automatically each year unless cancelled. To cancel, email Repline27 before your renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 12-month coverage period — Repline27 remains your appointed EU representative until that period ends, and you're responsible for naming a replacement representative before then to remain compliant with Article 27.

The one-time setup fee is non-refundable once the mandate agreement is signed and work has begun, reflecting the work already completed.

4. Limitation of Liability

Repline27's role is to receive and relay data protection requests and regulatory inquiries within the applicable legal deadline, and to coordinate the setup work described above. Repline27 is not liable for the substance of any response you give to a forwarded request, for delays or errors caused by third-party subcontractors beyond Repline27's reasonable control, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Repline27's services.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute will be handled through the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
